Am Schilde 25
Das Haus stammt aus der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jhdt. und diente als Geschäfts- und Wohnhaus. Zur Straße hin ist es teilunterkellert. Die zweiflügelige Haustür liegt zurückversetzt und trägt Kassetten. Als Osterode noch in vier Reviere („Stadtviertel“) unterteilt war, lag genau hier die Grenze zwischen dem „Rollberg-Revier“ und dem „Markt-Revier“, in welches das Haus 1741 gewechselt war.
Seit 1926 gibt es im Erdgeschoss zwei Ladengeschäfte.
Interessanterweise wohnten hier meistens mindestens zwei Generationen derselben Familie. 1774 war der Besitzer Rats-Auditor Opdenacker, dann dessen Erben. 1840 Dr. jur. Linsenhoff; anschließend 1854 dessen Ehefrau – besser wohl Witwe. Es folgten 1857 Kaufmann Billeb, 1863 Inspektor Billeb. 1879 war es ein Fabrikant namens Hausmann, wohl 1900 gefolgt von seinem Sohn Kaufmann Hausmann. Ab 1904 wohnten hier mehrere Generationen der Schornsteinfeger-Familie Süßmilch.
