La Cumba – Alt<\/b>er Schulhof 4<\/strong> Der Alte Schulhof ist benannt nach der einstigen Knabenschule im ehem. Heistermannschen Hof aus dem 17. Jhdt., welcher 1887 abgebrannt ist. Offenbar handelt es sich bei dem heutigen Bau um einen Rest dieser alten Schule. 1865 wird eins der Nebengeb\u00e4ude als \u201eHolzremise und Speicherhaus\u201c genannt, errichtet 1857. Nach Vergleichen historischer Unterlagen scheint es sich um die heutige Nr. 4 zu handeln. Die nach damaligen L\u00e4ngenma\u00dfen angegebene Geb\u00e4udegr\u00f6\u00dfe passt auch, n\u00e4mlich 13,60 m x 8,76 m bei 7,88 m H\u00f6he.<\/p>\n Nachdem der Heistermannsche Hof abgebrannt war, wurde das Geb\u00e4ude f\u00fcr sehr unterschiedliche Aufgaben genutzt.<\/p>\n 1905 richtete man ein \u201eAltertumszimmer\u201c ein, betreut von Stadtbaumeister Willi Neuse; die Grundstein-Sammlung f\u00fcr das sp\u00e4tere Heimatmuseum. Diese Sammlung blieb hier bis Anfang 1910, zog dann um in das Hintergeb\u00e4ude der Luisenschule (heute Stadtbibliothek).<\/p>\n Anschlie\u00dfend wurde der Bau zum st\u00e4dtischen Bauhof; 1910 bezeichnet als \u201eBauamt\u201c. Da offenbar nur der Fensterbereich ausreichend beleuchtet war, dr\u00e4ngten sich hier entsprechend die Bediensteten, und beim \u00d6ffnen der T\u00fcr musste man Acht geben, die dortige Stenotypistin nicht zu verletzen. Auch der damalige Bauamtsleiter, der noch heute bekannte Stadtbaumeister Dr. Ing. Paul Martins, arbeitete hier zusammen mit den Technikern an einem Tisch.<\/p>\n W\u00e4hrend des Ersten Weltkriegs er\u00f6ffnete der Magistrat schlie\u00dflich im Geb\u00e4ude eine sog. Kriegsk\u00fcche f\u00fcr die hungernde Bev\u00f6lkerung. Diese K\u00fcche blieb bis Sp\u00e4tsommer 1919 bestehen.<\/p>\n 1928 wird das Geb\u00e4ude beschrieben als aus Steinfachwerk bestehend, das Dach mit Ziegeln \u201eteils lose, teils im Verstrich gedeckt\u201c, mit vier Kammern im Dachgeschoss und einem Erker. Zu dieser Zeit gab es hier noch f\u00fcnf weitere Geb\u00e4ude, die nicht in baulichem Zusammenhang mit dem Haupthaus standen. Es handelte sich dabei um zwei Aborte, einen Ger\u00e4teschuppen und zwei kleine Wohnbaracken, letztere entstanden aus Lagerschuppen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 1990 Verkauf an einen Privatmann.
