Martin-Luther-Platz 3 – Tilman-Riemenschneider-Buchhandlung \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Zur Erbauungszeit des Hauses 1845 (nach dem Abriss des Vorg\u00e4ngerbaus von 1799) muss man sich den <\/span>Martin-Luther-Platz<\/span> etwa <\/span>dreieckig<\/span> vorstellen, mit schmalem Zugang zum Kornmarkt. Die Wohnh\u00e4user direkt am Kirchturm waren 1882 abgebrannt, und nach dem Bau der heutigen Geb\u00e4ude war der <\/span>Durchgang<\/span> zum Kornmarkt erheblich <\/span>erweitert<\/span> worden. Dadurch ist eine andere Optik entstanden. Zur Zeit des Baus der beiden <\/span>H\u00e4user Nr. 3 und Nr. 5<\/span> bildeten diese beiden sozusagen die \u201e<\/span>R\u00fcckwand<\/span>\u201c des \u201e<\/span>Drei-Eck-Platzes<\/span>\u201c, welcher damals noch Gem\u00fcsemarkt hie\u00df. Haus Nr. 3 wurde von Fachwerkaufbau und Ausma\u00dfen her dem Haus Nr. 5 angepasst.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Auffallend an beiden H\u00e4usern sind die \u00fcber die gesamte Dachl\u00e4nge laufenden <\/span>Bodenbel\u00fcftungen<\/span>. Ob es an der Giebelseite von Haus Nr. 3 ebenfalls wie beim Nebenbau eine <\/span>Ladeluke<\/span> mit Aufzugsbalken gegeben hat, um Getreide u. a. auf den Dachboden hinaufzuziehen (wie an Nr. 5 noch in Resten erkennbar), ist nicht bekannt. Auf jeden Fall ist das Haus teilunterkellert.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Interessanterweise lebte im <\/span>Vorg\u00e4ngerbau<\/span> im 16. Jh. der \u201eGarkoch\u201c Winter, also zugeh\u00f6rig zum Ratskeller gegen\u00fcber, und im 17. Jh. war Besitzer ein Turmw\u00e4chter vom Kirchturm. 1844 wohnte hier der bekannte Osteroder Fabrikant August <\/span>Dieckhoff<\/span>, ab 1909 folgte die Familie Habenicht.
